After kirkman held his first big rod building event in 2004.... the Custom Rod Builders Guild held a meeting and developed a "plan" to deal with Kirkman and his event, magazine and message board. Strides were made to put him under but he managed to weather the storm. When did we give up? Why did we give up? We have almost had him on the ropes a few times but always backed off or were scared to go further. His lawsuit did not hurt us. We had insurance to pay the settlement. So why has the Guild gone cold and afraid to follow the "plan"?

Is it over? Has the Guild given up?
